Siann and Graeme tied the knot in a trendy setting in Glasgow City

The decision to opt for a bespoke wedding dress in light pink silk was a reflection of the couple’s incredible chic style!

How would you describe your Mirka Bridal Couture experience? 

It was really special. From our first meeting there was so much care and attention to detail. We went through various fabric samples to choose the perfect silk and this wasn't rushed, the colour and the quality of the fabric was really important. I loved trying the dress on in different stages as is call came together and it meant I could share those different moments with people who are special to me. Even on what was supposed to be my final fitting, Mirka was really patient and made sure it fit like a glove before I eventually took it home!

Why did you choose a bespoke wedding dress?

I wanted a dramatic dress and something unique. I have always wanted to be married in soft pink. I had seen a design that I loved the silhouette and structure. I had followed Mirka and although the dress I wanted was different to her own collection, I knew she would be able to create it perfectly.

How did you find the process of Having a dress made to measure and customised for you?

It was exciting and nerve racking having a bespoke dress made. I knew exactly how I wanted to look and fell but until it all came together I had to put all of my trust in Mirka to make my dream dress come to life!

Your wedding was so stylish! What was your biggest wedding inspiration?

Because of the colour of the dress, I worked a lot of my inspiration around that! Our flowers had soft pinks and my bridesmaids were in bright pink as a contrast. Our wedding was modern, we wanted a beautifully dressed and bright space, and our guests to feel relaxed and enjoy themselves.

What is your favourite picture from your wedding day and why is this image so special to you? 

This is my favourite picture because its full of love. Getting married was the best thing I have done, I was so happy to kiss my husband for the first time. You can also see so many of our loved ones sharing in our special moment.

Finally, do you have any advice for future brides visiting Mirka Bridal Couture? 

Enjoy the process. Put your faith in Mirka and her team, whether you want a bespoke or a designer dress. It was an amazing experience.
