By using mirkabridal.com (this website) you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions which are outlined below. You are also agreeing to the provisions of our privacy policy.

Mirka Bridal Couture, reserves the right to make changes to this website at any time, including its terms of use.

This website is owned and operated by Mirka Bridal Couture. All materials appearing on this site, including the text, site design, logo, graphics, icons and images are sole property of Mirka Bridal Couture.

The content of this site cannot be used for any other purpose. Materials cannot babe copied, uploaded, posted reproduced, modified, transmitted, distributed or republished.

Any unauthorised use of materials on this site will be in breach of copyright, trademark and other laws.

Breach of the before stated could result in penalties.

The site may contain links to external sources, if they are not owned by Mirka Bridal Couture, then we are not responsible for any content displayed on the external site.




Customer Contract Terms and Conditions

Payment

Customers must pay a 50% instalment on all goods, at the date of placing an order. 

25% of the original price must be paid at the first fitting. 

The remaining 25% must be paid prior to the collection of the gown. The gown will not be released until the full amount is paid. 

ALL GOWNS REMAIN PROPERTY OF MIRKA BRIDAL COUTURE UNTIL PAID FOR IN FULL. 

Appointment Fees and Fittings

The initial appointment fee is £25, which must be paid at the moment of booking. 

This fee is only refundable if you place an order or cancel up to 48hr in advance. 

First appointment cancellations which provide less than 24hr notice will result in a loss of appointment booking fee.

Customers MUST bring the shoes and underwear intended for the wedding day to each fitting they attend.

Providing the Product

In order to provide the product, you must inform us of your wedding date within the time period agreed at your first appointment. This is necessary for us to begin the creation process of your order and to provide you with the products in time.

Cancellations and Returns 

In the event of a wedding being cancelled, for any reason whatsoever, the balance becomes payable immediately and all goods must be collected- regardless of circumstance. 

Customers who cancel their contract are not entitled to a refund of any monies already paid. This clause is put in place to protect the business of Mirka Bridal Couture. 

Gowns and accessories bought in store are NOT returnable and any monies paid will NOT be refunded. 

Changes to Order 

After the final design is agreed and order is placed, extra changes may occur should the customer request them. 

Any additional design changes made will be charged on top of the original price agreed.

Changes to Order Deadline

Once your order is accepted and your contract is signed, we will note your deadline and work towards it. If you encounter any events which may result in changes to your deadline, you must inform us as soon as possible. We will do what we can to accommodate those changes however, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so. Please rest assured that we will try our best.

Measurement and Sizing 

All gowns by Mirka are made to measure. 

After the sale, order and contract has been agreed and signed for, Mirka Bridal Couture WILL NOT  be held accountable should the customers measurements or body shape change. 

Hence all diet plans should be discussed with the consultant upon the first appointment. 

Alterations 

All dresses by Mirka are made to measure, therefore alterations should not be needed. 

If alterations are requires due to a change in size or body shape, which was not previously discussed, then the customer will be responsible for additional alteration costs.

It is not policy to take in gowns by any more than one dress size (maximum of 2 inches) as this could affect the style and look of the gown. It is therefore, done at the customers own risk. 

Letting out of all gowns is not advisable, and is at the risk of the customer should they decide on this requirement for their gown. 

Advice taken from the consultant and (or) designer is taken at the customers own risk, the specialists cannot be held accountable for any final decisions made regarding the alteration of any garment which is deemed unsatisfactory if alterations are completed as requested by the customer. 

Other Designers 

All dresses by designers other than Mirka are sold as seen and priced accordingly. 

All dresses by designers other than Mirka are standard size. 

Goods ordered that are not held in stock may take up to 9 months to arrive. 

Alterations are not included. However, Mirka Bridal Coutures offers a professional alteration service, gowns requiring alterations will be subject to a surcharge. 

After the order is made cancellations are not accepted, no refunds or exchanges will be given.

All goods must be paid for and collected regardless of circumstance. 

Liability

Before you take the goods from the shop you must satisfy yourself as to the condition of the goods that you purchased and immediately draw point out any defects or discrepancies. 

Once the goods leave the store Mirka Bridal Couture will NOT be liable for any defects or discrepancies subsequently discovered. Mirka Bridal Couture, will NOT be liable for any consequential compensation. 




None of the terms and conditions stated above will affect your statutory rights.
